How the agentos.sh website uses cookies, local storage, and analytics — and how you control them.

What this page covers

This Cookie Policy explains how the agentos.sh marketing website uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. It does not apply to self-hosted deployments of the AgentOS runtime, which does not set any cookies or collect analytics on its own.

Cookies and local storage we use

The following table lists all cookies and local storage keys set by agentos.sh:

Consent categories

When you first visit agentos.sh, a consent banner lets you choose which categories to enable. Your choices are saved in the agentos-cookie-consent local storage key.

  • Essential — always on. Stores your consent preferences. Cannot be disabled.
  • Functional — enabled by default. Stores UI preferences such as light/dark theme. You can disable these, but the site will fall back to system defaults on each visit.
  • Analytics — off by default; requires explicit opt-in. Powers Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Both services are loaded only after you grant consent.
  • Marketing — reserved for future use. No marketing cookies are set today. No advertising trackers are present on the site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. Analytics storage defaults to denied until you opt in. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not enable advertising features, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.

For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity for anonymised session replays and heatmaps. Clarity helps us understand how visitors navigate the site so we can improve layout and usability. Sensitive text inputs are masked by default. Clarity is loaded only after you grant analytics consent.

Session data is processed by Microsoft and is subject to the Microsoft Clarity Terms of Service.

No advertising cookies

agentos.sh does not serve advertisements, use retargeting pixels, or set any third-party advertising cookies. We do not share browsing data with ad networks.

Managing your preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences in several ways:

  • Consent banner — revisit your choices by clearing the agentos-cookie-consent key from your browser's localStorage (via DevTools → Application → Local Storage), then reload the page to see the banner again.
  • Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their privacy settings. Refer to your browser's documentation for instructions.
  • Google opt-out — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
